The traditional roles of health professional groups are currently in the process of review and modernization to adapt to challenges imposed by advancement in technology. Secondly, the challenge posed by the global shortage of trained nursing professionals, including teaching faculty has assumed critical proportions.
At the Saida Waheed FMH College of Nursing, we are committed to take up these challenges and to make a contribution to the modernization of the health and social care agenda. We believe that every crisis can be taken as an opportunity. We strive to develop innovative solutions to build excellence in education and research, which would in turn support and inform quality improvement in practice.
We believe that the Nurse as care-giver is the glue that binds together the various dimensions of the healthcare system. Our ideal nurse is a leader in care giving who embraces the traditional paradigm of service in the healing process, combined with modern best practices.
The Government of the Punjab is acutely cognizant of current challenges which has led it to join hands with the Saida Waheed FMH College of Nursing, a natural partner, being a Third sector not-for-profit institution committed to the cause of education and healthcare delivery in Pakistan. Graduates will be guaranteed employment.
We welcome all bright young leaders who can take up the challenge with us!

The world is your oyster; we encourage you to reach out and take up this unique opportunity. To learn, to serve, to thrive and to prosper; and in turn lead Pakistan and its people to health and prosperity! Ameen
