Most of the Speech Language Pathologist jobs are in schools. Other speech therapists work in hospitals, private clinics, speech-language pathologists, nursing care facilities, home health care services, individual and family services, outpatient care centers and child day care services. Speech-language pathologists often work as part of a team, including teachers, physicians, audiologists, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation counselors and parents. Corporate speech-language pathologists also work with employees to improve communication with their customers.
There are numerous specializations courses, in different various areas of Human Communication that are available worldwide M.Sc., M. Phil. and PhD programs are also available for a graduate who is pursuing higher studies. Speech and Language pathologists are also eligible to apply for foreign and local scholarships for higher studies offered by the Higher Education Commission, Govt. of Pakistan
